This is also the best way to open an Administrator command prompt , which is needed when performing certain tasks in Windows. Yet another way is to make a shortcut on your desktop that points to cmd , and then either keep it there or pin it to the taskbar for a quick, one-click shortcut to Command Prompt.

Finally, you can use Task Manager to open Command Prompt.
